Abstract
Plantation sub-sector is dominant as a source of foreign exchange through export and import activities, with a contribution to GDP of 3.47%, where one of the commodities is rubber type sheet. The area of natural rubber plantations in Central Kalimantan Province in 2017 was 351,992.19 hectares with production reaching
127,556.42 tons. The development of the amount of rubber production is inseparable from the stimulation of rubber sheet prices on the international market. Rubber sheet prices fluctuate with a downward trend. There are differences in changes in farm-level rubber sheet prices and changes in factory-level rubber sheet prices. Based on the demand factor, the price of sheet rubber should remain high because the level of demand tends to increase, but in fact the price of sheet rubber tends to fluctuate. This shows that there are other factors that also affect the price of sheet rubber in Central Kalimantan Province.
