Abstract
In article the author analyzes the development of social entrepreneurship in transitive economy of Belarus. Social entrepreneurship is seen as differing from other forms of entrepreneurship in the relatively higher priority given to promoting social value and development versus capturing economic value. A social entrepreneurship is a relatively new occurrence in Belarus. As a result, the research of peculiarities of functioning and development directions in social entrepreneurship is a really important theme for national economy. The main prospective directions of social entrepreneurship development are marked in the article the same as the role of public policy in this sphere. The unsolved problems are soundly broached with the concentration of attention on economically legal aspects in development of social entrepreneurship in Belarus
