Abstract
This study aims to explore the effectiveness of Green Human Resources Management (GHRM) towards sustainable performance in the facility management industry. This study employed self-report questionnaires from 159 employees from construction companies in Malaysia. Data has been analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) 3.2.8 version software. The results revealed that green training and development, green rewards and compensation plus green organizational culture are significant predictors for sustainable performance within the construction companies in Malaysia. Contrariwise, green recruitment and selection, plus green performance management and appraisal do not play a significant role with sustainable performance. The findings confirm that the GHRM practices towards sustainable performance in facility management are still at an early stage in Malaysia.
