MODELING INTENTION TO USE CUSTOMS INFORMATION SYSTEM (CIS) IN MALAYSIA

Abstract
This study aimed to analyze the system with the Customs Information System (CIS) in terms of the willingness of users in the acceptance of technology as a tool to support the agency among customs officers, forwarding agents and government agencies in the customs department. Quantitative research method was employed where this is on technology adoption and acceptance. Therefore, the appropriate respondents to this survey is basically working in the customs department of North Malaysia. About 100 data were collected from the population. The results exhibited that the intention to use of CIS is 69%. The usage of this system is set to enhance the operational efficiency of customs department.
