Abstract
The use of high-tech health among practitioners could support and improve the delivery of healthcare service to patients. Nevertheless, in the sense of health practitioners, literature on self-efficacy and its impact on health technology is minimal. The study seeks to examine the self-efficacy of healthcare professionals in Malaysia's use of high-tech healthcare. Four hundred health professionals participated in this study through purposive sampling. The study area involved four hospitals which represent four zones in peninsular Malaysia. Using a survey as the information gathering instrument, a survey was performed. Until beginning the research, permission was collected from the participants. For concise evaluation, data was evaluated employing SPSS version 21 along with Pearson correlations and linear regression. The results indicated that healthcare professionals' self-efficacy lead to positive uses of high-tech health. These findings can serve as input for healthcare providers to observe and offer appropriate training in relation to use of high-tech health technology.
