Abstract
The island of Cyprus has hosted many civilizations and cultures in different periods of history. Today the northern part of the Republic of Turkey, and the southern part of Greece's guarantor live under two separate states in Cyprus. The island of Cyprus, which includes different races, and therefore different religions, that people other than Turkish, Greek and British people are curious about but did not attempt to research, has never lost its charm throughout history. As it is known, Muslims and Orthodox Christians live in Cyprus. In this study, information was given about the Maronites, which were recognized as minorities according to the 1960 Constitution of the Republic of Cyprus and remained outside the two major communities of the island, and the village of Kormakiti, the only place where they were allowed to settle in the North.
