Abstract
This paper presents the comparison of different converters with different PWM techniques with respect to their advantages and drawbacks and the best converter with minimum overall losses which improves the overall performance of the HEVS/PHEVS is proposed. This presents an analysis, design and comparison study of several nonisolated DC-DC converter topologies that could be considered as potential candidates for the power electronic interface of HEVs with energy power sources. The considered topologies are the CUK, SEPIC, and Zeta converters. Solar panel is used as the renewable energy to recharge the electric vehicle so that you can reduce the greenhouse gas emissions further. P, PI, PID controllers are used to obtain a steady continuous input to the converters in closed loop.
