Abstract
Occupational cancer is a health problem that needs to be addressed internationally. Among occupational diseases, cancer is a serious health problem and it is expected to be a problem in the future as well. In our study, the general epidemiological evaluation of the people exposed to carcinogen due to their occupation is performed. Specifically 944 cancer patients working in the textile sector in our country were examined. The difficulty in reaching information has been discussed as well as the determination of risk analysis together with models used in the prevention strategies have been evaluated with the primary aim of filling in the information gaps on the subject. We believe that the data that has been obtained from the study can be useful for scientists, occupational health and safety researchers, risk analysis professionals, and all stakeholders who create cancer prevention strategies
