Abstract
To report a case of bilateral ectopic pregnancy after the transfer of frozen-thawed blastocysts. A 36-year-old multigravida who underwent ICSI for male factor infertility was diagnosed with bilateral tubal pregnancy. Unruptured ampullary ectopic pregnancies were detected in both the right and the left Fallopian tubes, and bilateral salpingectomy was performed with laparoscopy. Pathologic examination confirmed placental villi in both tubes. Bilateral ectopic pregnancy is an extremely rare complication of frozen-thawed blastocyst transfer but high index of suspicion in the presence of discordance between β hCG level and the findings at vaginal sonogram, and the meticulous inspection of contralateral tube can be supportive in the diagnosis.
