Abstract
Multi level power transformation is a rapid developing region of intensity hardware. Additionally this innovation going grew high in the recent years. The ML power transformation innovation can use in different applications, for example, medium to high voltage range for example to control the AC drives in megawatt range, power drives, power molding applications and force conveyance applications. MLI are another group of converters for dc–ac transformation for the medium and high voltage and force applications. The paper is regarding to, understanding concept and working of Multilevel Inverter as to design a simple and unique maturity for the 1-phase 5-level flying capacitor multi level inverter (5-Level FCMLI) and design of the same in Simulink environment. Along with the design and development of the 5-Level FC MLI the power losses comparison for different levels of IGBT's which gives a great abundance to select a preferred multi level inverter (MLI) for the desired application.
