Abstract
There is no doubt, the upsurge of COVID-19 across the globe has brought a radical shift within educational institutions and dynamic change of the physical library service. The objective of this paper is to explore various Open Access (OA) publishing companies for Nigerian academic libraries to choose the appropriate ones relevant to their needs. Accordingly, the dwindling budget has posted the academic libraries and librarians to play an active role in exploring OA materials, by divvying a free and open access scholarly publications, to meet the demand of their users. The paper finally advises Nigerian citizens and the entire world to adhere strictly to the rules of avoiding contracting the disease.
