Abstract
The article describes the main results of the research work, the relevance of which lies in the analysis of the current situation related to the effectiveness of the development of youth entrepreneurship in the city of Irkutsk, as one of the priority areas for the development of youth policy in the city, followed by elaboration of recommendations for improving the efficiency of development of the analyzed area of entrepreneurial activity in the city.
