Abstract
The creation, promotion and maintenance of a positive brand is one of the important elements of marketing management in the region, the successful conduct of which in the future leads to attracting inflows of both monetary and qualitative human resources that allow developing the territory, improving the economic indicators of economic activity of the subject, as well as raising the standard of living within it. This article describes the brand concept as an integrated element of the medium — and long-term development strategy of the Irkutsk region.
