Abstract
The article discusses the linguocognitive and linguocultural characteristics of the Russian language from a global perspective. This is the first attempt to describe the valuable aspects of the verbal conceptualization in the Russian linguistic perception. The article illustrates the reflection some key concepts in the Russian Language. Our analysis has uncovered certain value-laden connotations of the Russian Language and consciousness. The extraction of the peculiarities of the Russian understanding of reality is based on the results of research done by renowned scholars who represent a multitude of different schools and specializations. More importantly, the extraction is also based on the analysis of language facts and conversational behavior of native Russian linguo-cultural speakers. The verification of selected characteristics of the Russian understanding of reality such as the binary thinking, logocentricity, the irrationality of expectations, the unwillingness to compromise, and the dominance of exogenous over endogenous values in an axiosphere personality, requires the conduction of special experimental studies concerning the Russian language itself and the speech activity of native Russian linguo-cultural speakers
