Abstract
The article is devoted to the investigation of verbalized representations of traditions and order of Ossetian table etiquette on the basis of 47 proverbs of Ossetian language by means of which the prohibitions or warnings of undesirable actions realize in language; the proverbs given in the article are accompanied by linguocultural commentaries that expose the essence of prohibitions and warnings existing in Ossetian table culture; the structural analysis of the proverbs for revealing the ways of realization of the communicative task “prohibition” on the level of mini-text is also carried out
