Abstract
The article explores the issues of developing a competitiveness strategy based on the example of an industrial enterprise. A value chain is proposed that creates value for the enterprise's activities. In the study of these problems were used as a general — scientific and specific scientific methods (economic-statistical, methods of strategic analysis and planning), traditional methods and techniques of economic analysis (tabular, comparison). The factors of success of the activity of the industrial enterprise under study are indicated. A balanced scorecard for assessing the effectiveness of management to ensure the competitiveness of the enterprise is presented. Based on a balanced scorecard, the significance of each metric in the system is determined. The weight of each analytical unit is determined separately, namely: finance, internal business processes and work potential. The method of estimation of activity of the enterprise by means of definition of its overall integral life cycle index is offered in order to evaluate the competitive position of the studied enterprise in comparison with others. The proposed method of estimating the economic state of the enterprise on the basis of determining the overall integral life cycle index allows to: comprehensively, take into account the estimates of profitability, business activity, liquidity and financial stability of the enterprise; the weights of each indicator are taken into account in the calculations; the calculation is made on the basis of the public reporting of the enterprises; all calculations can be made using standard computer programs. The application of the proposed methodology can largely testify to the position of the enterprise on the life cycle curve, its change in dynamics allows to evaluate how the competitiveness of the enterprise is ensured, to evaluate the competitive position of the studied enterprise in comparison with others.
