Abstract
The article examines theoretical approaches to the system of material and technical support management of the enterprise. The key role of timely and high quality of material and technical resources support to the production process to achieve a positive activity result and profit is noted. The authors analyzed material and technical resources usage, presented the efficiency of managing the material and technical support indicators of an industrial enterprise in order to optimize and make managerial decisions about eliminating narrow spots in the material and technical support system. With the aim of increasing efficiency, the article proposes to consider material and technical resources management as a process of deliberate purposeful action from the side of business entities for timely delivery, storage, use of material and technical resources and servicing the production process based on their optimal planning for obtaining predicted positive results. The key components of the management system formation are examined, their contents are disclosed and ways for their improvement are proposed. The necessity of improving the management system of enterprise material and technical support in modern business conditions with increased competition is substantiated.
