PLANNING FOREIGN ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES OF ENTERPRISES IN THE GLOBALIZATION OF INTERNATIONAL ECONOMY

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the process of planning of foreign economic activity in the conditions of reformation of the international economy as a consequence of updating the tendencies of globalization. The factors of increasing importance of strategic planning function for the subjects of foreign economic activity are revealed, among them: supranational competition, increase of factors of market situation volatility, exchange rate fluctuations, political instability, specificity of doing business in the context of partner countries (especially administrative, customs and bureaucratic). The most important activities in the planning of foreign economic activity are summarized in three blocks: production and economic (the export strategy is determined; the import strategy and assortment of imported products are selected; relations with internal and external partners are established); organizational and economic (the choice of forms and methods of work in the foreign market is carried out, marketing support of foreign economic activity is organized); commercial (the mechanism of implementation of the export — import strategy and ancillary operations (transport, insurance, currency, financial and credit) is being developed). Attention was paid to the analysis of the process of choosing a foreign partner, namely, formulated factors, revealed the essence of the methodology, lists sources of reference and statistical information. The list of indicators chosen to characterize an enterprise as a subject of foreign economic activity depends on the purpose the firm sets for itself when choosing a foreign partner. The most important factors to be managed are the reputation of the enterprise and its products, reliable financial position and solvency, sufficient production and scientific and technical potential. The planning system is detailed through the functions of goal setting, forecasting, modeling, programming.
