FACTORS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS IN TERMS OF DIGITALIZATION

The article proves the need to determine the development factors of financial institutions, caused not only by the development of technologies, but also by the “coronavirus effect”. The evolution of the dominant approaches to the key factors in the development of financial institutions has been presented as follows: from classical (economic, institutional, technological) to digital. Attention is focused on the insufficient knowledge of the theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of the emergence, evolution and functioning of digital money and the risks associated with them. The factors of development of financial institutions in the medium term are determined.
