The article examines the essence of the mechanism for protecting intellectual property in the field of digitalization and shows the role of its components in saturating the environment with advanced information and communication technologies and solutions, ensuring the stability of economic growth and national security. The key requirements for coordinated work of the links of the mechanism for protecting intellectual property in the field of digitalization are highlighted. It is shown how the impact on the elements of the intellectual property protection mechanism can increase the speed of its movement to a new way of economy based on digital technologies
