Abstract
Over the last decades, thanks to the increased pressure to reduce cost and to be more responsive to customer demands as well as improving continuously to the value provided to them, the business has been motivated for managing responsibly their operation responsibly in regards to the economical, environmental and social aspects as well. Lean is one of the systematic approaches to achieved higher value for organizations by eliminating non-value-added activities. The aim of the research is to present the effectiveness of Lean practices in organizations for sustainable improvement.
