Abstract
The article considers the theoretical foundations of the formation of a system of marketing research on the Internet and the characteristics of the main stages. The definition of the concept of «Internet marketing research» as a specific system of search, processing and analysis of information is proposed. A comparative analysis of traditional and Internet marketing research with the main stages of the study is performed. Innovative methods of Internet marketing research are described and a classification system is proposed, where the available tools are divided into three blocks (direct, combined and indirect research). Trends in the development of Internet marketing research in Ukraine and prospects for the introduction of new methods are identified. Theoretical and methodological bases of formation of the system of Internet marketing researches in modern conditions are investigated
