Abstract
The method of hydraulic calculation of the main oil pipeline was improved. This method takes into account the influence of a non-isothermal factor caused by the difference between the temperature of the oil pumped into the pipeline and the temperature of soil and also the manifestations the heat of friction of transported oil flow. The influence of non-isothermal process on the capacity and energy efficiency of the pipeline operation at different values of the initial oil temperature and different conditions of heat transfer from oil to the environment was established.
