To the question of psychological preparation of basketball players-students for the games of the ASB championship

This article examines the importance of psychological training of members of the student basketball team as the most important factor in the effectiveness of competitive activities. There is also a significant increase in this type of training in the conditions of the ASB championship. The article presents the views of specialists on the problem of psychological training in basketball. At the end of the article, some practical recommendations are given for the effectiveness of psychological training of basketball students at the pre-competition and competitive stages.
