Abstract
A model of heat exchange processes between a heat source and investigated samples using a field model based on gas dynamics methods has been developed. The dependence of temperature change and critical surface heat flux density on experimental samples depending on airflow rate and their distance from the heat source is determined. The conducted research and the generated data tables can be further used to develop an improved simplified method for predicting the thermal impact of fire on adjacent construction sites, taking into account the wind impact.
