The problem of forming the human resources of the police, consisting of highly qualified specialists who have all the necessary competencies for the successful implementation of professional activities, is very important for domestic law enforcement agencies. Personnel is a priority factor in the effective functioning of any organization. It is obvious that the creation of an effective system of professional psychological selection of police officers is crucial. In this regard, the study of foreign experience becomes especially important. One of the most effective systems of such selection, which has earned worldwide recognition, is the system of professional selection for service in the police of Ukraine.
