Abstract
The article highlights theoretical and methodological provisions on the formation of heuristic thinking of magistrates from choral conduct of pedagogical universities. The emphasis is on the main tasks of artistic education, in particular the search for heuristic mechanisms of filling the educational and artistic process with new approaches to the development of the creative personality of future teachers of conductive-choral disciplines. The focus is on creativity as an important component of the professional training of masters in choral conducting. The theoretical analysis of scientific works was carried out, on the basis of which it is proved that the heuristic thinking formed in master's degrees provides a high level of conductor-choral competence. Scientific approaches of ukrainian and foreign scientists to the structure of heuristic thinking are analyzed. The main approaches to the formation of the investigated phenomenon are determined. The author's interpretation of the concept of «heuristic thinking of masters in choral conducting» as the implementation of independent search and creative acts in professional activities due to the actualization of intellectual procedures of analytical search and reflexive-intuitive nature is proposed. Emphasis is placed on the need to take into account certain functions of conducting-choral training of masters. The structure of heuristic thinking is distinguished, the influence of its components on the formation of the studied quality is characterized. The further directions of scientific researches on the development of an effective methodology of forming heuristic thinking of magistrates from choral conducting of pedagogical universities are outlined
