DETERIORATING IMPACT OF FRUITS AND VEGETABLES ON HEALTH: MEDIATION OF WASTEWATER

Abstract
The main purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between fruits & vegetables and health-related issues arising from the cultivation through wastewater and to find out the impact of wastewater mismanagement in health care institutions of Pakistan. The dependent variable of this study is “human health” and the independent variable of this study is “fruits and vegetables” while wastewater is a partial mediation factor. The research is based on a survey using a questionnaire. The respondents of this study are from The Victoria Hospital Bahawalpur & Civil Hospital Bahawalpur Punjab, Pakistan. The data was collected and analyzed through field research from Doctors, Farmers, agriculturists and common men based on questionnaires designed. The techniques of Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin, Cronbach's alpha, Correlation and Regression were used for analysis. There is a relationship between human health and wastewater mismanagement. The results of the study represent that the independent variables have a significant but negative relationship with human health due to wastewater mismanagement.
