Abstract
The article analyzes the scientific literature and offers an author's interpretation of the concept of ―strategic management methodology‖. Based on the proposed definition, the components that make up the methodology are formed. During the formation of the strategic management methodology, its object, subject, goals and objectives, principles and patterns that are the main components of the methodology are defined. The conceptual approach presented by the author to the formation of the methodological base for the strategic management of the organization in the face of uncertainty is formalized and presented in a schematic form. The prospects for further research are identified, consisting in the construction of a system of approaches, methods and means of strategic management in accordance with the methodology developed by the author
