Possibility of application of innovative 3d technologies in orthopedic dentistry

The article is devoted to the need for young specialists in the field of orthopedic dentistry to apply modern 3D technologies in their work, in particular 3D modeling and 3D printing technologies. In order to improve the quality of dental services in the field of orthopedics, improve production technologies, achieve the aesthetic appearance of finished products in the oral cavity, 3D modeling and 3D printing were introduced. Thanks to these innovations, the prosthetics process becomes contactless, since a three-dimensional copy of the patient's oral cavity is made by scanning. Based on the above, the process of manufacturing prostheses is automated, ready-made designs fully take into account the individual anatomical features of the patient's oral cavity, it becomes possible to provide dental services at a distance, the production time is reduced, but the productivity increases.
