Abstract
With the arrival of market economy, the information, which is delivered by mass media, becomes commodity, thus the commercial contamination, which promotes sale of commodity, i.e. information, starts prevailing. In this regard, in the modern Russian society, there is a risk that in the print media's main goal is to profit from selling information by any means, including those, which contribute to the development of anticulture. The present article deals with the verbal aggression observed in mass media and making conscious impact on the reader by means of imposing of language forms with obvious violations of the Russian literary language norms, glut of texts negative information and information with the vulgarized contents. The problem of verbal aggression in mass media becomes part of the public aggression problem, and nowadays studying of these problems becomes the extremely relevant.
