Abstract
As Security is one of the most needed and concerning factor while building a vault system, whereby vaults areintended to protect their contents from theft, unauthorized use, fire, natural disasters, and other threats. With lack of more efficient security a vault can be vulnerable to some number of attacks or disasters. The fact that most of the systems are human based supportive security protocol, Then the main purpose of this paper is to propose the design of a microcontroller based automated security system of the bank vault that can give an instant protection against any break-in by hackers or any unauthorized physical intrusion, reacts bylocking the vault door and alerting the control room while sending a warning signal to the law enforcement team immediately. The system consists of the twoworking together microcontrollers PIC16F690& ATmega328that associated with Ultrasonic sensorHC-SR04, 2x Infra-red (IR) sensors FC-51, passive infrared (PIR) sensor, LDR, GSM/ GPRS& GPS shield, Piezo Buzzer and Optical Fingerprint sensor with display panel.
