Physical changes include decrease in lean body mass, oral cavity changes, loss of visual & auditory functions, decrease in GIT function, loss of mineral mass and psychological changes include Alzheimer-s disease, stroke and Parkinson while psychosocial changes include dementia, depression and social isolate. For healthy aging, diet should be nutrient dense and rich in antioxidants to improve immune function and ward off degenerative diseases. Laboratory screening is also essential to determine their health status.
