The work considers scientific approaches and conceptual provisions of the formation of the economic potential of business structures, justifies the use of general scientific approaches that can be applied when considering certain aspects of the formation and use of economic potential. The work also offers a contextual basic model for the formation of the economic potential of an entrepreneurial structure, and gives the author's definitions of the external and internal economic potential of an entrepreneurial structure.
