Abstract

The directions of reforming institutional regulation of pension transfers in the developed world and in Ukraine are analyzed. The importance of the transition to a funded pension system as being adequate to market conditions is rationalized on the basis of the institutional approach. Institutional factors hindering its introduction in Ukraine are analyzed.
