Abstract
The impact of income on the functioning of the domestic consumer market is studied. The structure of household income and expenditure is pointed out. The classification of the consumer market is presented and its essence is researched based on the methodology of categories construction. The trends in household expenditure in the post-crisis period are analyzed and deformations of the domestic consumer market are identified. The necessity of growth of revenues in the national economy is justified as the stimulus for development of domestic consumer market.
