Abstract
The evolution of views on the problem of risk in economic science is considered. The becoming of risk category is analysed. The peculiarities of views formation on economic risk by the scientists of different schools of economic science are defined. Contradictions and peculiarities of the modern state of risk theory developing are reflected.
