Abstract
The laws of development and self-preservation are studied. Their role in agriculture is identified. The relationship between ?development? and ?self-preservation? is substantiated. The key performance indicators of agriculture are analyzed to determine the effectiveness of the laws of development and self-preservation in the agriculture of the national economy.
