Abstract
The effectiveness of the economic activities and their place in the mechanism of industrial enterprise management is examined. ?Effectiveness? as an economic category, the effectiveness of the economic activities and performance management are analysed. The relationship between performance management and management of the company is grounded. The methods of evaluating the effectiveness of the company are defined.
