The deterioration of quality of land resources of Ukraine during the land reform is analyzed. These costs are reasonably determined on the basis of the value of additional organic mineral fertilizers, fertilizer, lime, gypsum, costs of erosion control measures to reduce the maximum permissible concentration of pesticides, heavy metals, to reduce to an acceptable level density of radionuclide contamination, to prevent over compaction root-contained layer to protect against pathogens. The legislation to set up binding ecological and agrochemical certification is proposed.
