¿Qué dicen los datos abiertos sobre desarrollo humano y competitividad? Una mirada en perspectiva para la prospectiva desde los territorios

“Knowledge is power”, a phrase attributed to the celebrated British philosopher Francis Bacon, is of great relevance today, in the midst of the greatest revolution in terms of information, in the history of mankind. In this sense, this article references and uses open data to extract critical information about human development and competitiveness in the world and Colombia, and to observe, in perspective, the lessons that this contributes to the exercise of local foresight. As for the correlative analyzes, these indicated the association for some variables —human development and competitiveness, human development and transparency of the rulers— that may be relevant for the long term planning from the territories.
