Os efeitos da operação carne fraca na imagem do Brasil

This work presents an analysis of the effects for the Brazilian image and consequently its economy, after the outbreak of the operation called “Low Flesh” carried out by the Federal Police (PF), which revealed a product adulteration scheme involving at least 30 refrigerators. In the face of the crisis that the country has faced, the operation causes profound damage to agribusiness, one of the pillars of Brazil's economy, which has been showing signs of recovery. In this context, the information circulated without the filter of the traditional means of commu-nication through social networks scratch the image of the Brazilian product inside and outside the country.
