Günümüzde Romanya'da Türkçe Ana Dili Eğitimi - The current situation of Turkish Native Language Education in Romania

While in the 'live together' model, the emphasis is on the need to help surface the similarities between communities that share the same Geographic space, the 'next to the other' model has proved more effective in preserving community identities, especially minority ones. At the foundation of the identity features of minority communities , religion and language have a special place. And in protecting them , it is important first that the community's awareness of the importance of these identity features, but also the social, political and particularly economic contexts of the time are important. Our study, in the context of the rights and liberties granted by Romania to the minority communities, is intended to be an evaluation studio for the current situation of the Turkish mother tongue in Romania: the study sets out the general directions of the Turkish mother tongue study in Romania over time, are presented comparatively, some results from two field research within the educational system in which the Turkish mother tongue is included, the recommendations resulting from these researches are presented.
