Abstract
This study aims to investigate how administrators in provincial directores of education perceive the recent changes in Turkish education system. The participants of the study consist of 5 administrators that work in the provincial directorates of education in two provinces in Central Anatolia within the 2012-2013 academic year. Descriptive analysis is conducted to analyze the data. Seven conceptual categories have been created using the responses of the participants. The study results show that participants have a positive approach towards change. Results also show that participants consider that changes lack planning. Participants also indicate that the recent changes in education system brought about different problematic issues.
