Abstract
The article presents the author's view on educational management in the present day context. The essence of the concepts "manager" and "education management" has been clarified, a brief retrospective analysis has been conducted. The external and internal factors that determine and ensure the development of management in education have been identified. It has been found that the main tasks of educational management in the context of today are: to focus on the constant transfer of educational institutions to a qualitatively new state; constant social, material and psychological support of all participants of the educational process; formation of their digital competence; creation of legal, organizational and psychological conditions for ensuring the experimental activities of educational institutions; attracting various investors; participation in international educational projects, etc. The article pays special attention to the formation of inclusive competence in modern education managers and the issue of effective attraction of additional financial resources in the education sector. It has been noted that any modern reforms and transformations must take into account also the previous experience, achievements, progressive ideas, so as not to repeat the mistakes already made, to use the positive for further progress. Therefore the development of innovative models of the educational process should be based on historical and pedagogical experience. V. Sukhomlynsky's creative heritage is invaluable for educational management. The head of the educational establishment was perceived by scientists as a generator of collective ideas, and the main method of working with teachers was an individual, friendly, frank, emotional conversation. The author emphasizes that in the conditions of introduction of the Concept of the New Ukrainian school, education managers face challenges in the development of managerial skills for the formation of a new educational environment; information and communication skills; building partnerships with public organizations, parents and local authorities; fostering trust, mutual respect and partnership among all participants in the educational process, the formation of a democratic culture in the school
