Animator as a subject of socio-cultural activities

Abstract

The subject of socio-cultural activity is a social animator, perceived as a member of the group participating in its life and not just passively observing its functioning; responsible for the cultural and social improvement, conditions under which a person would be attracted to the knowledge of cultural; helps establish positive relationships; stimulates creative activity. Social animators works in the field of culture, school aesthetic care and leisure facilities for children and young people, social services, rehabilitation centers. The main function of a social animator is to ogranize cultural, meaningful leisure by engaging citizens in the communication process; practical work in social services, rehabilitation centers, health facilities, for children for the purpose of aesthetic development, the formation of social behavior, health-healing, positive consciousness, psychology and training. V. Bocharova, I. Bulgina, B. Wolfov, T. Halperina, Yu. Zhukov, V. Quarterly, V. Kiselev, N. Kiselova, Y. Krasilnikova, L. Kurilo, F. Lavrov, Ye. Manbekova are the foreign scientists exploring various aspects of the activity. In the national science this problem is poorly researched and animation is mostly understood in the context of leisure direction (O. Bezpalko, M. Holovatyi, A. Kapska, M. Panasyuk and others). Social animator does not act as a pear leader but as a consultant, advisor or assistant, which helps create the conditions for awakening thoughts, decision-making and action. It is determined that in the professional activity the social animator implements specific functions, namely: diagnostic, prognostic, organizing, mediating, propaganda, preventive, social-pedagogical, informative-educational. It has been researched that the social animator aims at socio-cultural formation of the personality under new cultural values, social and cultural norms, etc., which are not included in the school curriculum. The general requirements that are put forward in the professional work of social animators have been analyzed. It has been emphasized that social groups which need the help of a social animator are: children left without parental care, migrants, at risk pears, people of elderly age and with disabilities.
