Priority directions of patriotic education of students of HEE

Under conditions of Ukrainian realities, when Ukraine at a cost of lives of Heavenly Hundred Heroes, with the efforts of Ukrainian military and volunteers, is defending freedom and territorial integrity, the patriotic upbringing of student youth becomes of paramount importance. The whole generation of Ukrainians was raised in the spirit of alienation from their native land and national self-denial. There was formed the feeling of national minority, offendedness, inferiority complex, the belief of superiority of "older brother” was inspired. The intentional dissemination of Russian-language literary and musical-song products, illumination of false history, mocking of the Ukrainian character and traditions formed the phenomenon of ethnocide. Our people tried to deprive all the signs of cultural and spiritual independence. Relevance of the study on patriotic education of students is determined by several factors - social situation in our country today, changes in the social, political, economic life, reassessment of values in people's minds. The patriotic education of student youth is aimed at ensuring the integrity, unity of Ukraine, which is the core of the Ukrainian national idea. High School in modern society is designed to give priority to the education of patriotism as a component of philosophy of student and their attitude toward their native country and other nations and peoples, national shrines, increased love for Ukraine, language, sense of responsibility for its independence, preserve the material and spiritual values, therefore, in modern higher education, the need to educate students' patriotism as a feeling and as a basic quality of personality based on new approaches and ways of its realization is actualized. For a successful solution of this problem, it will be effective to create a patriotically oriented educational and instructional environment at the institute. The purpose of the article is to analyze the experience of patriotic education of students in the Carpathian Institute of Entrepreneurship, as well as to show the priority directions in this work. One of the priorities of the organization of educational work in the Carpathian Enterprise Institute is active formation of the young man's sense of patriotism and love for their homeland and their native land. The main objective of the educational process at the institute – to form personality endowed with civic responsibility, national identity, high spiritual values, family and patriotic feelings. The priority directions in the patriotic education of the students of the Carpathian Institute of Entrepreneurship are national pride and civic courage. Patriotic education at the institute is carried out during the training sessions, through educational activities, circle work, excursions, writing research papers. Thus, the analyzed experience shows that the Carpathian Institute of Entrepreneurship is carrying out significant work on patriotic education of student youth. Priority directions in the work are national pride and civic courage.
