Training future pre-school teachers for professional activities in a multicultural educational environment

Abstract

The article has dealed with the problems of preparing of future educators for professional activity in Transcarpathian multicultural educational environment; it has been revealed the sence of multicultural education of future educators; on the basis of the analysis of the curriculum of the specialty "Preschool education", identified the disciplines and themes that are tangible to the problems of multiculture and the training of future educators for the activities in the multicultural educational environment; demonstrated the multicultural resource of the discipline of the curriculum. The purpose of the article is to identify the peculiarities of training of future educators of preschool educational establishments of Transcarpathia for professional activity in a multicultural educational environment. The problems of globalization initiate the relevance of training teachers to educate citizens capable of reviving, preserving and enhancing the achievements of national culture in general and ethnic, in particular. Society puts forward qualitatively new requirements to the training of pedagogical staff. There has been questions about the formation of ethnocultural competence of future professionals in the field of education and, above all, those who are called to act in a multi-ethnic environment. The multicultural preparation of the teacher of the preschool educational establishment is a complex, multi-faceted process that requires a prior comprehension of its goals, objectives, content, technologies at every stage and dependent on specific socio-cultural and pedagogical conditions and circumstances. We believe that the content of multicultural education of future educators should have material about the peculiarities of the existence of the multicultural society, pedagogical technologies of professional activity in the multicultural environment. Thus, multicultural education of the future educator as an integral part of his professional education should be aimed at assimilating the cultural and educational values of other cultures on the basis of knowledge of the culture of their ethno group, mastering special social and pedagogical technologies, which will allow to realize their own professional potential in work with polyethnic population .In conditions of the educational process at the Pedagogical Faculty of Mukachevo State University there are preconditions for the implementation of multicultural education of future educators. An analysis of the programs of the disciplines of the cycle of professional-oriented training allows us to state that the most complete problems of multiculturalism and pedagogical work can reveal specially developed disciplines, that is, disciplines of the variational part of the curriculum. Thus, in the curricula of masters training of specialty 012 "Preschool education" the discipline "Formation and development of the system of professional pedagogical establishments for the training of preschool educators (for example, Transcarpathia)" has been introduced, the purpose of which is to highlight the historical experience and features of the birth, formation and development of the system of professional pedagogical institutions for the training of preschool educators, justification of the possibility of its usage in the process of vocational training of preschool education instructors in the present stage of development of the national higher pedagogical education, the formation of the ability to characterize the main directions of pedagogical thought at various stages of the society evolution.
