Abstract

The experience and successes of the most developed countries in the field of science, production, the development of new technologies, culture and education indicate the need for a radical restructuring of the national education system in the direction of creating conditions for a gifted person to freely express their particularities, develop in accordance with their inclinations. During more than a century, gifted students were always at the center of the attention of many theorists and practitioners. During this time, the stages of increased interest in this problem and the search for new ways of solving urgent issues in the substantiation of the essence of giftedness and its structural components were distinguished. This prompted teachers and psychologists to formulate the definitions of linguistic giftedness, build its structure and, as a consequence, substantiate the theory and practice of teaching linguistically gifted students and students. Due to such orientation of the educational process (collective communicative activity of students in the educational process and the creation of situations of success; the formation of the subject-subject relations between the teacher and the student in the process of learning, systematic foreign language communication in the subsystems "student-teacher", "student-student" ", "student", "teacher-teacher ", as well as with the speakers of a foreign language in typical spheres of domestic activity and communicative situations, aimed at intercultural communication.
