Partnership between schools and families in the educational space of an educational institution: Foreign experience

Abstract
Theauthor of the article analyzes the international experience of partnership between school and family, which is aimed to increase the effectiveness of an educational institution.The basis of partnership pedagogy is communication, cooperation and collaboration between teacher, student and parents. They are united by common goals and aspirations. Also they are voluntary, like-minded and equal participants in the educational process, which are responsible for the result. Successful solving of tasks of personally oriented education and upbringing is possible with effective cooperation between teachers and parents, coordination of educational influences of school and family. The effectiveness of the interaction of school and family largely depends on the correct understanding of the essence of cooperation between teachers and parents, knowledge of specific psychological and pedagogical aspects of its implementation. Thereare presented the suggestions of using this experience of modernization the educational space in Ukraine. The analysis of scientific and pedagogical literature is allowed to generalize different approaches of the family's cooperation with the pedagogical staff from the traditional approaches of family education to the systematic parents' interaction with the educational institution, which is being implemented today. The foreign experience, which has valuable achievements on the involvement parents to different forms of the participation in a child's educational organization (from the financial participation to the professional support of family on the wide range of educational and upbringing issues), has been analyzed. The international experience of pedagogical activity demonstrates the special role of the family in the formation of the child's personality, the parents' participation in making decision in matters relating to students. The quality of educational services depends on the close cooperation between the educational institution and parents.
